Lab 1 Reflection

In this Lab 1, we had to complete a preview of our Web Design portfolio, based on what we created on our wireframe. I placed, a banner created by me with my information like my name, the years I will be working in, and my email. In addition, I also placed a navigation bar to help the viewers find their way on my homepage, and take them to specific links to show them each of my work. I also placed an image, to show them my social media account to know more me about the, creator added with a picture of me. Lastly, (currently working on), I added a slideshow filled with pictures of me how I live my life, by going on adventures, and how I get dolled up for it.         What I learned from this lab, is that no matter how long you work on your website, you can always work on it and improve it. Just cause you were rushed to finish your work, and you know it isn't your best work, doesn't mean you can't work on it after. It doesn't show what yo...

WBL Workshop #4 Reflection

We were told that there will be more in-school workshops like this one, guest speakers to talk about careers, job shadowing openings, and where we can find internships. It is very important to have all these requirements checked in order to gain the CTE endorsement and graduate as ...

CW What Does a CTE Diploma Means To Me?

In order to obtain a CTE Diploma, you need to complete the WBL workshop requirements and pass the CTE class for all three high school years with an 80+ average in it. You must have a decent attendance record with good behavior comments from other teachers to show you're a responsible student and that you care about your education. You'll need 44 credits in total with the other major subject and elective classes to have a regular high school diploma. CTE Diploma is different and more unique than the regular because it shows you experienced the professional life with the WBL trips and fairs, and met professional people at their jobs. Not only that but it shows, you achieved more than the average students by taking technical exams which relates to the real world situations.       To have a regular high school diploma, you would need to pass all five regents which are english, algebra, living environment, u.s history, and global history regents. In a...
