Lab 43 Reflection

Lab 43, was all about creating a game where you would click on the image every time it popped up trying to whack it using the software, Javascript with CSS and HTML of course.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. The main purpose was to create this game to be able to have fun with, and come up with your tool to whack, and different design but with the same concept. Having this game creates, entertainment because nowadays, games are played on technology like this lab we created for the game.       In the end, I enjoyed creating this lab because it was something different than we usually do, and it was my own idea to have Spongebob instead of the original "whack - a..." Plus, I added my own background with, a a setting that matched the tool that got hit with which was Spo...

Lab 42 Reflection

Lab 42, was about Javascript allowing us to create a site that included a timer that we would have to set depending on the seconds, like either 10, 20, 25 seconds and the timer would start.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. By entering how many minutes or seconds you want, in the input box where it says "Enter Minutes", it can start.       This lab was fun to create because it was interesting and new to set off a timer that actually depended on the viewer instead of the coder/creator of the website. I personalized with my own favorite colors and fonts for the CSS software added with the HTML coding too.

Lab 41 Reflection

Lab 41, was about Javascript allowing us to create a site that would include a video that had a button where you can drag up to speed up the video or drag it down to make the length of the video slower.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. The length of the video depended on the viewer and how they would like to watch the video, in their own pace with speed or in slower motion.      Overall, I enjoyed creating this lab, because it was something new to me. Not only that but, for the fact that the viewer can actually change the length of the video depending on their pace is pretty cool.

Lab 40 Reflection

Lab 40, was about Javascript allowing us to create a site where we would have a transparent box and within the boxes, you could drag it to the right.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. The boxes would if you hold on to it, and move it to the right, you can keep dragging it till the end. I left then numbers there as the original one, but changed up the colors, and background with the font sizes as well.        This lab was interesting to create, but in the beginning, it didn't really make sense because it kinda looked confusing. I wasn't sure what to do in the beginning but then I dragged the boxes, and knew what to do.

Lab 39 Reflection

Lab 39, was about Javascript allowing us to create a site where we would have three tabs following up with links when you hover over them.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. Once you hover over the word, there would be a dropdown of titles connected with links if you click on them. It included information with hyperlinks.     I think this lab came in handy for our Javascript knowledge because now I can use this hovering pop up tabs for my podcast project. Not only that but I think it can be useful to other task in the future because it connects to other links, and the dropdown tabs look very professional.

Lab 38 Reflection

Lab 38, was about Javascript allowing us to create a site where we would have three different divs following up on each other.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. This lab involved the console behind the link, and if there was any type of error in the console, or coding, the whole site wouldn't work. It was quite difficult for me, and in the end, it didn't work out for me so I just quit on this lab, and hoped my layout of it came out for a good score at least.        This lab was okay, like it wasn't very interesting to make, not a lot resulted in, like practice for Javascript mostly because I didn't learn much. In addition, to that, my coding didn't work for it either.

Lab 37 Reflection

Lab 37, was about Javascript allowed the site to be interactive when you scrolled down, like the navigation bar would follow  and the first part of the bar would get bigger in font. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. This lab included buttons, that can lead you back to the top of the page from the bottom to help user get where they want quicker.        I enjoyed working on this lab, because it gave me an opportunity to write about my favorite holiday in a way that made Javascript work along with it, with the responsive scrolling and images. It can definitely be useful to my future work, like my portfolio by example.

Lab 36 Reflection

Lab 36, was about Javascript allowing you to change the pitch and rate of a voice message than you can type in your own. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. You can decrease or increase either options, of how fast the voice message should go or how slow which is the rate, and then for the pitch, is how deep or soft the voice message should be.        For this lab, it was quite simple because I found the coding online, and I think the video helped as well. The information they gave us was pretty useful so all I had to do was switch it up a bitch, and give a personal design to it, like background, colors, font, ...

Lab 35 Reflection

For lab 35, Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. For this lab, we had to create a navigation bar that included hovering over the words. I made into my own style by changing the font and color, with a different background as well. A color and background image that made the lab look more presentable but also unique.        This lab was quite interesting to create because it was able to respond by hovering for the navigation bar which made it look cool. Adding colors and images but it look stylish too.

Lab 34 Reflection

Lab 34 was about move in the direction that you move to by guiding you using the software Javascript. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. Creating a compass for this lab was quite difficult but also interesting the outcome of the compass look presentable but in a weird way professional because the outline looked neat.        In the end, I don't really believe we can use this for other labs or creative projects because it's really rare that we need a compass especially on a site, because of the technology we're given nowadays. This lab was actually goal achieving, because I didn't think we were able to create a compass with directions with Javascript so this was clearly new to me.

Lab 33 Reflection

Lab 33, was all about be able to take notes by using the software, Javascript, which I think is an advantage to users and me so I can use it as well for other projects to make my site look interesting. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. You're able to type on the page like actual notes which is useful in my opinion. We had to troubleshoot and figure out how to place a voice message but the microphone wouldn't pop up for some given reason.         Overall, this lab was difficult and not much was completed as we were told for this lab, because the microphone didn't come up for the voice message. There was very small progress in this lab, and I think most of us were stressing about it, but eventually, we gave up and moved on to the next.

Lab 32 Reflection

Lab 32, was about Javascript allowing you to take your own picture on the spot. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. After taking the picture using the camera, we had to adjust the RGB colors. Taking the picture was only allowed on Firefox, or Mozilla, but not Google Chrome for all users which was odd.        Overall, this lab was fair and gave us enough practice. I think for the future, I am able to use this idea from the lab to take a picture for my future career or upcoming project. Even though, it took time completing this lab, in the end it was worth it, because I learned something new about Javascript.

Lab 31 Reflection

For Lab 31, we had to place many videos on the site using the software, Javascript. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it.  For viewers to understand what they would have to do, directions were given.  The site would tell you, " Right click and press inspect that goes to console and type in seconds, minutes or hours" when you first view it.       Overall, this lab was okay, not to easy, not to difficult to complete. It was simple, but it took time adding the videos and personalizing it with our own creativity. It gave us a chance to practice and expand our knowledge on Javascript.

Lab 30 Reflection

Lab 30 had to do with creating a list using Javascript. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. It was interesting completing this lab because I rearranged this list with my own list of my top favorite movies. I listed all my favorite movies and personalized the site.        It wasn't hard to change things around in the menu or personalizing the website. I enjoyed completing this lab because I put my own thoughts of movies into this by customizing it, and adding my favorite movies to it.

Lab 29 Reflection

Lab 29 was one of my favorite labs that was made by HTML, CSS, but mainly Javascript.  Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. This lab was about putting a random word and when the mouse went around it, would move around everywhere. It was quite easy to change things around, but I enjoyed personalizing this, and adding whatever word I wanted with background color as well.      This lab was simple, and easy to complete because not much had to be done. It gave us practice on the software for Javascript and move a word around, and I had fun completing it.

Lab 28 Reflection

Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. For lab 28, we had to create a fake menu which allowed us to type anything as an order of the menu, its basically a form where it stores the data when it's typed to be put into the input box. It doesn't delete until I exist the tab or file.        This lab was enjoyable to complete because it was easy, and creating a fake restaurant menu was different from the other labs we had to complete before. It took creativity by making a random menu for anything I liked in food taste.

Lab 27 Reflection

Lab 27 was all about Javascript and the console behind it. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. For lab 27, there was a set of certain comments to be shows in the console behind the website, and there would be a certain result shown on the site. I personalized this lab, but customizing the commands that can be plugged into the console which would appear in a different order from the video.         This lab was okay but also a bit difficult because changing the order of the console was quite confusing. But with the help of my peers, I learned how to fix my errors and get it working with practice as well.

Lab 25 Reflection

Lab 25 was all about Javascript and the console behind it. Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. The sequence behind the console with certain letters would give the viewer to press the letters, and images would pop up as being typed. For example, for my lab it says "Press W,E,S,B,O,S" and if you type it, unicorns pop up in different areas.      Overall, for this lab, it was quite simple and fun to complete. It gave us practice on how to work with the Javascript console and sequence. It gave us a chance to be creative with it as well.

Lab 24 Reflection

Lab 24 was one of the videos from the Javascript30 series, and for this lab we had to show how slow or fast a voice is by the characters. To personalize this lab, I added a heading, and background image to show it was created by me. By watching the video, and doing the coding can be difficult sometimes, because it can get confusing at times where you would get lost and don't know which part works for what.        It's possible, if one character of the coding or function is miswritten, the the whole function won't work properly, can lose points from this lab. By practicing and researching how to create the code for this lab, it finally worked. With troubleshooting it, it took a while to get the video to work as well.

Lab 23 Reflection

Javascript is an extreme course that has to do with coding but can be done by anybody with just the right practice. For every lab, we had to watch a video that would show us how to do each lab, and the process for it. For lab 23, we had to create a checklist with boxes to click on which gave options to check each item or not. If you checked one box, hold shift, and click another box , it will check all the boxes in between it. This is useful for any other project I would given, and can use it for my own personal ideas.       For the future, I can even use it for my business career with sites, and apps because it is a checklist, and can be used as a survey even. This lab was quite easy for me because it was fun, and the code was given, and creativity was expanded. Most likely, I would use this coding for the checklist because it can used as an idea for upcoming project.

Lab 22 Reflection

For lab 22, it was all about the Javascript console and script to operate the website. It came from one of the videos of the series we had to watch and was about the console which the viewers don't really look at. It's all about inspecting it and trying to figure out how the console was developed. This lab was a bit difficult because I had to add all the information for the console. It took time, but I made it look nicer to get some points for this lab.        It stored data that isn't really needed and it gave us practice to test our knowledge on Javascript and expand on it. In additon, it also took creativity by personalizing the site and making it look presentable. I kind of enjoyed doing this lab as much as I do for some other labs.

Lab 21 Reflection

For lab 21, we had to create a website based on HTML5 Canvas that lets us paint on the page by moving the mouse, with the softwares Javascript, including HTML and CSS. This lab was quite easy because for the script, we found the code online to create a canvas drawing, so it wasn't difficult to follow the steps and code.         From this lab, I learned how to create a canvas for a site using Javascript. I personally, like this lab because it can be used by kids in the future for a kids entertainment company and also it can be under the category of creativity since it allows people to paint whatever image they want.
