Project 1 Reflection

Project 1 was the most difficult project I've ever done to be honest. It required a whole procedure because the pops were the main part of the whole project. First, we had to create a video about ourselves introducing who we are, and what we've been doing in our past three years in Web Design academy. Within that video, we had to place pop ups of images to symbolize what we were talking about. For instance, I mentioned the softwares I used, so I would place an image of one software of how it looked. The coding was quite difficult because most of us couldnt figure out how to make it work and where to place it exactly. But with another lesson from Ms.Ramirez, we kind of understood but knew where to go from were we were, and completed after a few weeks struggling with it.

JQ Structure Poster Reflection

The JQ Structure Poster was all about showing all the labs that we've worked on with jQuery. The first step I completed was taking screenshots of all my labs and placing it as an image on the poster, then arranging it to make it look presentable. The next step I took, was making it stylish with the fonts and how I wrote "Lab 1" or so and placed my reflections for each lab. After I repeated this step for all three of my labs, I printed it out as a tabloid format, I had a little difficult printing it out the right way, because some parts of the format was incorrect, but with the exploring of the preferences for photoshop, I figured out my mistake, and handed it in on time.

Lab 5

Lab 5 was all about using Javascript and converting decimals into binary, hexadecimal and octal. An option was placed for people to click on to be able to check on how much cents the amount the person chose would be equivalent to. It was quite difficult because the code was continuous and a bit hard to understand. But in the end, I got the code to function properly and the way I wanted it to work.

Lab 4 Reflection

Lab 4 was all about using jquery to adjust the shape and size of a shape with buttons. The functions would work in a certain type of coding. But there were certain functions I couldn't do like changing its shape or opacity. Having the stress of not being able to have it work would cause a headache because you can try multiple times, and for one little tiny mistake, it still wouldn't work. But clearly, I did not give up and asked one of my peers. I used the jquery/javascript inside my html coding. With this, I placed basic animations with jquery and html combining to make it look more pleasant to look at it.

Lab 3 Reflection

Lab 3 was quite tricky and difficult because it was confusing on how to get the jQuery to work on the website. I had to download the jQuery to have it to work properly and had to add html coding and css, to make it look decent. This lab was different from other labs because we've never added jQuery library to other websites. In the end, I was able to have it to work, and it's likely to use this jQuery link in the future.

Lab 2 Reflection

Lab 2 was all about the starting of Jquery and how to combine the html, css, with it. It's a lot going on one link, so we learned how it works. It was to help us create a look for our portfolio using the wireframe also created before this lab. I believe I did a good job on this and actually learned something out of this. So far, I have placed just a title with subtitles, including my name. It wasn't difficult because I had my classmates help me if I was confused in certain areas.
